Vince Gill performed at The Ryman Theater in Nashville, Tennessee on June 23, 2016
Bluegrass Nights at the Ryman, a longtime running annual event, started off this year’s series with a sold out show and, a Nashville favorite, Vince Gill. Supported by an ensemble of well-known artists in the bluegrass community; Barry Bales on bass, Stuart Duncan playing fiddle and Jeff White providing guitar and high harmonies, this show set the bar incredibly high for the rest of the series events. The Ryman, an intimate setting compared to the venues that Mr. Gill regularly plays, makes for an unforgettable evening. Playing a variety of songs, ranging from some from Vince’s 1970’s repertoire to pieces on Jim White’s new CD, the all-age crowd definitely got their money’s worth from this group of truly professional and talented musicians.

Vince Gill Will Celebrate His 25 Years as Grand Ole Opry Member With Limited Edition Vinyl Version of Down To My Last Bad Habit.
20 time Grammy award-winning MCA Nashville country artist Vince Gill is celebrating his 25th year as a member of the Grand Ole Opry with the release of a Limited Edition Vinyl version of his newest album, Down To My Last Bad Habit. When it was released in February, Down To My Last Bad Habit sent reviewers scrambling for superlatives. “Soulful yet sophisticated, emotionally raw yet gleaming with studio polish,” said USA Today. Rolling Stone praised Vince’s “exquisite guitar work and soulful vulnerability,” while The Boot enthused, “[This is] quite possibly the most perfect project—from a vocal and instrumental perspective—that he has recorded in his career.”
Fans can pre-order autographed copies of the historic package—which includes a stylish T-Shirt illustrated with a photo of one of Vince’s favorite guitars—by going HERE. Orders will arrive on or around July 15. After that date, only the album will be available at retail that carries vinyl.
The vinyl edition, which contains all the songs found on the original CD, features a brand new cover designed by Hatch Show Print, the legendary printer of show business posters that is now a part of the Country Music Hall of Fame.
